Account Deletion and Data Rights

How to request account deletion, access, correction, or other privacy help.

Effective date: July 1, 2026

Deleting an account

You may request deletion of your StreamVault account from in-app Settings or through StreamVault's public deletion-request page. You may also contact support@streamvaultapp.com if you cannot access your account. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.

When a deletion request is accepted, StreamVault will revoke access and begin deleting or de-identifying account information and user-owned content under our deletion workflow. The action may be irreversible. Shared conversations, reports, enforcement records, and peer-created content may be preserved or sanitized so that we do not delete another person's content or compromise safety evidence.

Information we may retain

We may retain the minimum information needed for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, financial records, chargebacks, reports, moderation, appeals, dispute resolution, and legal holds. Where possible, retained records are anonymized or separated from direct account identifiers. Backups age out on their normal secured rotation.

Access, correction, and privacy requests

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information by emailing legal@streamvaultapp.com. Include the account email/phone or username, the request type, and enough information for us to verify and process the request. We may request additional verification and will not disclose information that would compromise another person's privacy, safety, rights, or security.
