Moderation, Enforcement, and Appeals

How reports are reviewed, which actions may be taken, and how to appeal a decision.

Effective date: July 1, 2026

Reporting a problem

Report the specific user, Stream, post, comment, clip, message, gift, or other content through the Service whenever possible. Include a concise explanation and any available context. You can also contact support@streamvaultapp.com. For urgent legal or credible safety concerns, contact legal@streamvaultapp.com.

Do not use a report to make false accusations, harass someone, or obtain an advantage in a dispute.

How we review reports

StreamVault may review the reported material, account history, related context, and available evidence. Access is limited to authorized personnel and may be shared with relevant channel moderators only when necessary. We may take immediate interim action while a review is ongoing where there is a serious risk of harm, exploitation, fraud, or ongoing policy violation.

Possible outcomes

We may dismiss a report, issue a warning, remove or limit content, restrict features, suspend an account, permanently ban an account, remove creator status, preserve evidence, or make a lawful report to authorities. Action is based on severity, harm, intent, history, and the reliability of available evidence. We are not required to disclose another user's private information or every detail of our investigation.

Notice and appeal

Where appropriate, we will notify an affected user of a significant action and provide the available reason. A user may appeal a warning, removal, restriction, suspension, or ban within 60 days of notice by emailing support@streamvaultapp.com with the subject line Moderation Appeal, their account identifier, the decision being appealed, and relevant context.

An appeal is reviewed by an authorized StreamVault reviewer who was not the sole original decision-maker where practical. We may affirm, modify, reverse, or restore the affected content or account. Repeated or bad-faith appeals may be closed. Emergency or legal restrictions may remain in place while an appeal is reviewed.

Imminent-harm and child-safety reports

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Do not use StreamVault as an emergency response service. Report suspected child sexual abuse material, credible threats, terrorism-related material, or serious exploitation immediately through the Service and to legal@streamvaultapp.com. We may preserve evidence, disable access, and make reports required or permitted by law.
