How StreamVault collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information.
Effective date: July 1, 2026Controller/operator: Svault Holdings LLC
1. Scope and contact
This Notice explains how StreamVault collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects personal information when you visit or use the Service. For privacy questions or requests, contact legal@streamvaultapp.com until a dedicated, monitored privacy mailbox is confirmed. General support is available at support@streamvaultapp.com, and grievances may be sent to grievance@streamvaultapp.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the features you use, we collect:
- Account and profile information: phone number, optional email address, username, display name, date of birth, biography, social links, profile photo, cover image, account settings, and authentication/session records.
- Content and communications: Streams, audio, video, screen shares, recordings, replays, clips, exports, posts, comments, messages, GIF choices, uploads, thumbnails, reactions, gifts, polls, and related metadata.
- Participation and social information: follows, blocks, channel/Stream memberships, interests, reminders, referrals, views, likes, and interaction history.
- Safety and support information: reports, report descriptions, moderation outcomes, appeals, support tickets, and communications with us.
- Financial and verification information: VP balances, purchases, transactions, gifts/tips, creator earnings, and—only if a future payout program is enabled—verification and bank information needed for that program. Stripe processes payment-card information; StreamVault does not receive full card numbers.
- Technical and usage information: device/app/browser information, network and log information, IP address where necessary for security, performance, fraud prevention, rate limiting, and administration, plus diagnostic/error information when monitoring is enabled.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the Service; authenticate accounts; operate live media, recordings, replays, clips, messages, and discovery; personalize feeds; process VP transactions; provide support; enforce our rules; detect fraud and abuse; resolve disputes; comply with law; maintain backups; and improve reliability and performance. We do not sell personal information.
4. Recording notice
When a Stream is recorded, the Service displays a recording indicator or notice. Recorded material may include participant audio, video, screen share, chat, reactions, gifts, polls, big-screen activity, and join/leave or timing information. We use these materials to provide replay, clip, export, moderation, safety, support, and technical-operation features. See the Recording, Replay, and Clips Policy.
5. How information is shared
We share information with other users when you make information public or participate in a Stream, channel, post, clip, or conversation; service providers that help us operate the Service; authorized administrators, moderators, and creators where their role requires it; professional advisers or authorities where required; and a successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
Depending on the enabled release configuration, service providers may include Cloudflare R2, Stripe, Giphy, Telnyx/SMTP, Sentry, OneSignal/FCM, DeepInfra, and Apple/Google services only when each is enabled.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, keep it safe, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Depending on the record type and applicable requirements, retention may extend up to 10 years for many account, safety, support, financial, and audit records, unless a shorter period applies or law requires more. Content may be available until deleted, removed, or made inaccessible.
If you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify information as described in the Account Deletion and Data Rights policy, except for information we need to retain for legal, financial, security, fraud-prevention, safety, or dispute purposes.
7. Your choices and rights
You can update some profile and notification settings in the Service, block other users, report content, and request account deletion. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing legal@streamvaultapp.com.
You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications if and when we send them. Service, security, safety, transaction, and account notices may still be sent when necessary.
8. Security, children, and changes
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure. The Service is not intended for children under 13. We may remove accounts or information if we learn a user does not meet the age requirement.
We may update this Notice when our data practices or legal obligations change. For material changes, we will provide notice and seek consent where required.
