Child Safety & CSAE Prevention Policy

StreamVault is committed to providing a safe and secure platform for all users. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This policy outlines our comprehensive approach to protecting children from abuse and exploitation on our platform.

1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

StreamVault unequivocally prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. We are committed to:

  • Maintaining a platform free from content that depicts, describes, or facilitates the sexual abuse or exploitation of children
  • Preventing the upload, sharing, or distribution of illegal content involving minors
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children who use our platform
  • Complying with all applicable U.S. and international child protection laws
  • Cooperating fully with law enforcement agencies in investigations related to child exploitation

2. Zero Tolerance Policy

StreamVault maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding any content or activity that exploits or endangers children. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content depicting sexual abuse of minors
  • Grooming or solicitation of minors for sexual purposes
  • Production, distribution, or possession of child exploitation material
  • Any form of child trafficking or exploitation
  • Sexually explicit content involving anyone under 18 years of age
  • Links to external websites containing child exploitation material

Any violation of this policy will result in immediate account termination, removal of content, and reporting to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

3. Content Moderation & Detection

We employ a multi-layered approach to content moderation to detect and prevent child exploitation content on our platform:

  • Automated Detection: We use advanced AI and machine learning systems to automatically detect known and new patterns of child exploitation content
  • Image & Video Analysis: Our systems analyze uploaded images and videos using hash matching and visual analysis technology
  • Reporting Mechanisms: We provide easy-to-use reporting tools for users to flag suspicious or illegal content
  • Human Review: Our trained moderation team reviews flagged content and escalated reports
  • Proactive Monitoring: Our trust and safety team actively monitors the platform for potential violations

4. User Reporting

We encourage all users to report any content or behavior that may involve child exploitation. Our reporting system is available 24/7 and all reports are treated with highest priority.

  • Use the "Report" button on any content or stream
  • Contact our dedicated Child Safety team directly at: childsafety@streamvault.app
  • Report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at CyberTipline.org
  • Contact local law enforcement for emergencies

5. Age Verification & Restrictions

StreamVault implements the following age-related protections:

  • Users must be at least 18 years of age to create an account
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
  • Users under 18 are prohibited from broadcasting live content
  • We implement age-gating on certain features and content

6. Compliance with Laws & International Standards

StreamVault complies with all applicable child protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • U.S. Laws:
    • Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA)
    • Protect Act of 2003
    • Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act
    • Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
    • 18 U.S.C. § 2252, § 2252A, § 2258A (Federal criminal statutes)
  • International Standards:
    • Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (Lanzarote Convention)
    • UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
    • Optional Protocol to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography

7. Law Enforcement Cooperation

StreamVault is committed to fully cooperating with law enforcement agencies in all investigations related to child exploitation:

  • We will respond to valid legal requests from law enforcement within 24 hours
  • We preserve user data and content in response to legal holds or preservation requests
  • We proactively report suspected child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
  • We provide technical assistance to law enforcement for investigations
  • We maintain records in accordance with legal requirements

8. Child Safety Point of Contact

StreamVault has designated a dedicated Child Safety Point of Contact responsible for:

  • Receiving and responding to child safety inquiries from Google Play and other regulatory bodies
  • Coordinating with law enforcement on child exploitation cases
  • Overseeing our child protection policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with child safety regulations
